OK, So What is the BSM anyway?
The Baptist Student
Ministry is a Christian organization that promotes Christian growth and
fellowship among college students -- regardless of denomination. The BSM
is comprised of UTPA students, run by
students, and for students. Above all the BSM is a place to
meet Jesus and discover how he wants to give purpose and satisfaction
to your life.
And what do you have to offer me?
In addition to a variety
of weekly events, we provide a safe place for college
students to hang out and make friends. You can also use our
computers, play Fuz-ball,
Ping-Pong, or Bumper
Pool! Feel free to stop by anytime. Oh, and on Tuesdays, you get
Free Lunch!
So
what is your purpose?
Everything we do is
done with the purpose of honoring Jesus Christ. The main goal of the BSM
is to offer our campus (UTPA) the opportunity to know
God in a deep and personal way. The BSM also provides many outlets
for Christians to strengthen their Christian
"walk", serve the community, and to help
others come to know Christ. It is our desire that the BSM may be
influential in leading you to a deeper commitment to Christ.
Everything
sounds great, How do I join?
That's
easy. Just show up, and participate. That's it. No monthly fees, no hidden
costs.... Just come on over.
